THE WIND AND THE SHIPS

THE WIND AND THE SHIPS tells the story of the men who formed the Kamikaze Corps and the men who commanded the American ships in one of the war's most ferocious air/sea engagements.

As the story develops we get to know these men: their loves, their fears, their strengths and weaknesses, their motivations. The story has been called realistic, moving, and in its broad action scenes, terrifying. The storyline and details of the battle and of the units involved are based on extensive research, first hand knowledge of combat and actual events.
